Web Standards

Ever complain about a builder’s shoddy job on your home. They probably cut corners and didn’t follow building codes. Those building codes are designed to keep you safe and healthy while keeping the value in your home for years to come.

The same can be said for web standards. Why except anything, but web sites built to spec?

XHTML

ecrosstexas.com is coded in XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Every attempt is made to make sure that every page validates.

CSS

We like fast, clean pages that look pretty. We hope our Cascading Style Sheets validate (when they are completed).

Typography

Just wait and see! I wrote this back in the fall of 2003, when will I get around to designing a good looking site?
