If Paul’s Epistle to the Galatians was Published in Christianity Today

Game Plan: Playing to Win

January 8, 2006

Tape 2448.01 [Game Plan], Senior Pastor Jeff Jones

Game Plan: Playing to Win.

Selected Verses

Passion

Play to Win: 1 Corinthians 9:24

As was Paul’s, our number one goal should be “Knowing Christ and making Christ known to others.”

Examples of Paul’s passion: Romans 1:15,16; Philippians 3:7-14; 2 Corinthians 5:13-15.

It is our responsibility to keep our hearts for God buring red-hot.

Focus

We must funnel our passion to be highly effective.

Advantages:

  • Guides decision-making
  • Gives confidence in life
  • Transforms dreams in realities

Evaluate

  1. Am I playing to win?
  2. How focused am I?
