With 5:28 left in the game, the Mavericks trail 99-75. Dirk Nowitzki has a whopping 6 points. Ouch, what an embarrassing way to end one of the best regular seasons ever. A 67 win team bows out to a number 8 seed, Golden State and your MVP candidate barely even shows up.

Cuban must be dying inside. How many heads will roll after this game?

UPDATE: Final score Golden State Warriors 111 – Dallas Mavericks 86. Don Nelson will be celebrating all summer long in Hawaii.

The 2003 NBA Western Conference Playoffs begin tonight as the Dallas Mavericks face the San Antonio Spurs. Southwest Airlines and I-35 should be really busy the next 2 weeks!

Our prediction: Spurs in 6. All six games will be go down to the wire.
