Word is just now surfacing that Amazon.com tycoon Jeff Bezos narrowly escaped serious injury in a helicopter crash in the Big Bend region.
The Seattle Times reports Bezos suffered only minor injuries when the chopper he, an assistant and another passenger were riding crashed on a mountain range near Alpine.
According to reports Bezos was scouting the area for property.
