From Jihad Watch yesterday, What does Keith Ellison believe?

“On Jan. 4, I will go swear an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. I’ll place my hand on the Quran…” — from a remark by Keith Ellison quoted in this article….

Either he is loyal to the American Constitution, or he is loyal to Islam, which in every important particular flatly contradicts both the spirit and the letter of the American Constitution, as it does both the spirit and the letter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

America must get answers to this question. Why are we so afraid to ask? Why didn’t anyone in Minnesota think to get answers before electing Ellison to Congress?

Side note, it looks like Ellison was hit in Dearborn. A hit with those who wish to impose Sharia law on the US. We need to wake up America.

From FT.com:

President George W. Bush had shown disdain and indifference for the US constitution by adopting an “astonishingly broad” view of presidential powers, a leading libertarian think-tank said on Monday.

This is not from some liberal not over at MoveOn.org, instead it comes from the highly respected Cato Institute. The report (Power Surge: The Constitutional Record of George W. Bush) published yesterday concludes:

President Bush’s constitutional vision is, in short, sharply at odds with the text, history, and structure of our Constitution, which authorizes a government of limited powers.

I could not agree more. Where is the leadership this Nation deserves? Why has the government expanded so much in the past 6 years?
