Ok, so I missed getting this posted last week. I am not off to a good start with this. Please pray for me.

Christmas Party

Thanks again to all of you for the great time at dinner and with the white elephant exchange. I can’t wait to see my Shrek Chia grow some hair!

Angel Tree

We will be meeting at 5pm Saturday to deliver presents to our family. Review Rowena’s email for more details. Warm up your voices as we sing Hark the Herald and Joy to the World.

Next Meeting

Following our time with our angel tree family, we will meet back at Chase Oaks to complete our study of The Prodigal God.

We still need a name

Shannon and I are thrilled to be the leaders of this LifeGroup, but we don’t really want the group named for us. We would like a name that glorifies Christ and his finished work on the cross. Please bring your ideas on Saturday!

Down the Road

  • Chase Oaks will hold Christmas services on Wednesday, the 23rd at 6 and 8pm. Three more services will be held on Thursday, the 24th, at 4, 6 and 8pm. There will be no services on the 25th.
  • Consider writing a Vertical devotion in 2010 as Chase Oaks reads through the “wisdom books” (Pslams, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Job, and Song of Solomon).
  • Ladies, please consider attending True Woman conference in October 2010.

LifeGroup Wednesday (Dec 2)

I am going to start something new this week — a weekly post about our LifeGroup. I will share some news about Chase Oaks and our group.

We need a name

Shannon and I are thrilled to be the leaders of this LifeGroup, but we don’t really want the group named for us. We would like a name that glorifies Christ and his finished work on the cross. Please bring your ideas to the Christmas party.

Christmas Party

Shannon and I look forward to seeing you all Saturday night at Texas Land and Cattle in Frisco (7pm). White Elephant gift exchange to follow at the Yiu’s home. Remember, one gift is needed per person.

Angel Tree

It looks like we will be taking gifts to our Angel Tree family on 12/19. Keep watching for Rowena’s email updates. Please be praying for the family and that God will be glorified in our mercy ministry.

Next Meeting

I would like to meet on the 19th to wrap up our study of The Prodigal God. We may move the time to better work with our Angel Tree family. I will keep you updated.
