From HoustonChronicle.com:
The Houston Rockets cashed in on their international appeal when sources close to the team confirmed Wednesday that Toyota Motor Corp. will buy the naming rights of Houston’s new downtown arena.
Houston is the international city in Texas and this looks like a great deal for the city and the Rockets. Yao Ming could lead the Rockets to the promised land sooner than Les Alexander could have ever imagined. Let’s just hope he’s healthy.

By the way, how did I miss this new logo? Why change again? Oh right, new stadium, new logo (Rangers, Astros, Mavericks). The Stars and Spurs did not change their looks however. Let’s just hope Jerry doesn’t get any ideas!

Normally I hate it when teams change their logo’s, they should be indentifyable over decades. However this new one is pretty cool so I have to give them a pass.
