Specific Requirements (1:7,8)

Negatives (1:7)
  • Not overbearing.
  • Not quick-tempered. James 1:19-20
  • Not given to drunkenness.
  • Not violent
  • Not pursuing dishonest gain. Malachi 3:6-12
Positives (1:8)
  • Hospitable, generous.
  • Loves what is good.
  • Self-controlled.
  • Upright and holy.
  • Disciplined.
