Tim Rogers has written an explosive inside look at the world of Darwin Deason, founder of ACS in the June D Magazine:

Rather, the serious matter—the one that may yet hold repercussions for Deason and for the Fortune 500 company still under his sway—isn’t what happened aboard the Cartoush. It turns out to be the Cartoush itself. In papers filed earlier this year in federal court, it is claimed that Deason, as the chairman and controlling stockholder of ACS, set up a complex scheme of off-balance-sheet corporations that, in essence, provided him free use of not only the Cartoush II and its predecessor, but also a squadron of private jets—all at the expense of taxpayers and the companies he controlled. The charges may interest the SEC and the IRS.

Looks like another Enron-type incident. With all these stories (Enron, Worldcom, Global Crossing, Tyco, etc.) you begin to wonder how much of the 90s growth was a sham.

    Its not just deason. ACS's management as a whole is rotten to the core.



    Aside shipping many jobs outside our borders the company is filled with racial bigots, and general human cruelty.



    ACS has violated the American's with Disability Act, age discrimination firing over age 40 employees on trumped up charges of poor performance and gets away with it scott free.



    ACS's company owned insurance company Great West Life defaults payments under outrageous lies stating pre-existing condition, then reverses itself well over a year after the fact, makes partial payments cheating both the care giver and the employee.



    ACS dba Great West Life is also currently in violation of the HIPAA act denying access to employee records to both an ex-employee and the ex-employee's attorney after several written inquiries were made.



    I know this for fact as I am a former over age forty, diabled ex-employee of ACS's 7 Eleven Helpdesk Division located at 1111 Mocingbird Lane in Dallas that was fired on trumped up charges of poor performance and know that at least a dozen others, all male, all over age forty were fired under the same exact charges.



    I witnessed first hand the practice of racial bigotry by both managers and supervisors.



    I was forced to declare bankruptcy and suffered the loss of my home after ACS dba Great West Life defaulted payment of nearly $25,000.00 dollar hospital bill and was fired when I complained about it and other dispicable issues and practices managment and supervisors were doing.



    Darwin Dease and ACS? No one has even begun to scratch out all the dirt on that firm.

    Deason, his son doug and anyway associated with them are unethical.They have a track record of screwing people, maybe now it is there turn.
