From The Dallas Morning News:
President George Bush announced the start of federal action against the Richardson-based Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development Tuesday morning, calling the organization a front for the terrorist group Hamas.
To my knowledge this marks the third time this year the group has been investigated.
A few weeks after September 11, I received a mailing from the HLF (it was addressed to the previous owner of the home). The mailing was meant to reassure Americans that the HLF was a charitable organization and has nothing to do with terrorism. Maybe I should have saved it!
